8 days introductory session

Details of the course:

Duration: 8 days ( 1 hr /day)

Location : The little Goldfish studio, Thrissur

Age group : 13yrs plus

Topics covered:

1. Introduction to clay

2.  Hand building for first four days( hand building is an ancient pottery making techniques which involves creating products  with out the use of pottery wheel. Only our hands, fingers and simple tools are being used for this  technique)

3. Making of basic forms like small pots, cups, vases and bowls and tiny plates

4. After 4 days of hand building session. Wheel pottery will be practised for next 4 days. 

Pieces will be glaze fired and given back to the participants in two weeks.

Studio time : 5pm to 6pm

Course fee Rs 9000/ person
