SMILE NO MATTER WHAT

 It was very difficult for me to pick up skills on wheel throwing. I still struggle  to make pots sometimes. Though wheel throwing is not  my favourite part in pottery. It was necessary for me to master it. I am more of a 'hand building' person. My work gets more expressive through the technique of hand building. I always encourage my students to work more with hand building techniques as well.

But this picture shows my satisfaction when the pots came out just like how I wanted after spending hours on the pottery wheel. Wheel throwing could be very exhausting work at times and ending up in a bad pottery day. But the next day , I come back to the studio and clay could work wonders for me.
