Tile project

This project is similar to the project that I did last time. But this has a different story to tell. The leaves are not naturally formed by a plant. 

So I have a habit of collecting wooden blocks used for textile block print. But nowadays I find them with the street vendors as well .They use it for applying color patterns on the hands , something similar to mehendi. I had no interest in getting synthetic colors on my skin. I was greatly focussed o the wooden blocks they had. I bought a couple of them and this was the simplest among the lot. I gently pressed the block on the clay and Voila! it immediately captured the texture.
