Stones and leaves

 This is a handbuilt vase with a slice of Kurinuki technique . The beauty of handbuilding lies with its basic technique 'pinching'. Pinching two tiny bowls and attaching then with a thin coil. An egg form was created. I found an interesting leaf in my garden , I picked it up to make some slabs and press it. The slabs found it way to the corner of the vase. But it was never enough . I started scraping the walls of the vase. Over all I was happy with the textures. I was a little confused with the glazes but finally arrived at my classic blue and white.
